The High Street Theatre is casting for the musical "Company"

At the center of "Company" is Robert, a 35-year-old bachelor afraid of commitment. A documentary will be produced of the audition and rehearsal process up to opening night.

JENNY-SOPRANNO Quietly manipulative, simultaneously square and wise,
JOANNE -MEZZO Acerbic, funny, demanding,
KATHY-MEZZO A girlfriend of Robert - sweet and very much in need of love,
LARRY-TENOR Joanne's husband, stoic and centered,
MARTA-MEZZO A girlfriend of Robert - an intensely "with-it" woman,
PAUL-TENOR Amy's fiancé - coolly loving to Amy's neurotic nature,
PETER-BARITONE Susan's husband - the perfect husband and ex-husband,
SARAH-ALTO Crisply critical, karate-learning over-eater,
SUZAN-MEZZO A delicate southern belle.

OPEN CALL AUDITIONS Saturday Dec. 10th 10:AM TO 5:00PM with callbacks Sunday Dec 11th 6:00pm at The Theater On High Street, 45 High Street Moorpark, Ca. Prepare at least 16 bars of legit theatre song to be sung with an accompanist with an instrumental CD or cassette. Rehearsals begin approximately December 15th. There will be 9 weekend performances on the first three weekends in February. Friday nights, Saturday nights and Sunday matinees with the possibility of extension of additional 3 performances.
