Breast Cancer took Helen...

Team Simi is participating in the ‘05 San Diego Susan G. Komen 3Day Breast Cancer Walk, as noted in previous postings. Helen Mitchell is one of the persons for whom Team Simi is dedicating their efforts.

Helen is one of those rare persons who gives selflessly of herself for the betterment of mankind. That’s why she is a beloved Volunteer for the Simi Valley Police Department. Unfortunately, breast cancer took Helen last Friday and deprived the world of a truly compassionate person. She will be missed, but her memory will be with Team Simi as they trek the San Diego hills come October. And, her memory will endure within all those people who were touched by Helen.
